MANUFACTURING FACILITY - EAST OTIS, MA TOUR THE PROCESS & PRODUCTION Large cranes are used to place granite slabs on roller beds. Roller beds lead into hydraulic splitters that snap of curbing to the desired specifications. Our custom machinery is used to load finished curbing pieces into inventory or prepare for delivery. The 600 kW unit powers our entire East Otis, MA manufacturing complex with clean, renewable energy. Installed in 2009 at a cost of $1.7 million, it stands 292 feet to the tip of the rotor blade. This investment will provide an estimated annual savings of $172,000 and pay for itself in six to eight years. It also significantly reduces our carbon footprint, making our all natural granite curbing an even more ecologically friendly product for your projects.
